Relationships Don’t Have to be so Difficult
…. really, they don’t.
Are you taking scraps of love and playing small?
As Bob Newhart says … “Stop it, just stop it!”
You want a partner, not a project. I coach couples and single people on how to cultivate healthy, thriving, and fulfilling relationships built on awareness and respect and understanding.
The key to this work is learning how to articulate your needs and feelings without assigning blame or judgment. This may sound hard to believe, but if you look at both the testimonials, you will see evidence of this.
Much of what we learn about relationships is haphazard. It begins with what we observe at home. What we see growing up is what we perceive to be normal.
While many of us vow not to repeat what we’ve witnessed growing up, many of us, in fact do end up replicating those patterns in our relationships.
In a way, being with a partner who has certain behavior patterns of either one or both of our primary caretakers is familiar because it’s what we have grown up with. The main element of my work is showing simple, yet effective techniques that allow couples to put the past behind them and move with forward with acceptance, affection and appreciation.
Unlike traditional approaches, my practice helps couples to move quickly through their issues in a constructive and healthy way.
